Interview with @byebrowski

Q: 1) How did you first get into art? 

A: 1)  i started watching anime (specifically studio ghibli) when i was like 9 or something, and that inspired me to draw humans! i drew other random stuff before that though

Q: 2) Do you run into art block and if so, how do you deal with it? 

A: 2) i do sometimes, usually when i do i will either take a break from drawing or just do lots of studies 

Q: 3) What are some of your favorite techniques to learn art? 

A: 3) i don't really know any techniques lol, i guess i just watch yt videos and do studies and stuff (uH idk how i learn art actually)

Q: 4) Who are your biggest artistic influences? 

A: 4) currently yanjun cheng, bluebiscuits, marco bucci and whatever art i find on ριηter3st that looks nice !

Q: 5) Do you have any favorite brushes or apps you use? 

A: 5)  use procreate, and probably my favourite brush to use would be the hard airbrush because it's really versatile and easy to use. i like rake brushes and square brushes in general too

Q: 6) Do you have a certain color palette/scheme that is your favorite? 

A: 6) i really like the combination of mossy green + orange + light coral pink, but i use whatever colors when i'm drawing :)

Q: 7) How do you express yourself through your art? 

A: 7) i not sure what you mean by self-expression, but i don't really exactly express myself i guess. i mostly try to express my ideas, the characters and other aspects of the art, such as the lighting (i suppose that's possibly a way of self-expression perhaps?)
